Mavenir raised $155 million to spend on vital products

The total strategic capital raised since July 2022 by the US-based telco software developer Mavenir has reached $250 million after it successfully executed a $155 million capital round from an unidentified investor, to spend on strategic products.

It was also said they are in a unique position to lead the ongoing digital transformation of mission-critical mobile networks thanks to Mavenir’s end-to-end, cloud-native, 5G software platform, further adding that they will continue to lead the 5G transformation by investing in disruptive products to accelerate innovation in mobile networks.

Private equity firms and other strategic investors, such as Koch Strategic Platforms and Siris Capital Group, support Mavenir. Earlier in August, Mavenir raised $95 million through the sale of public debt to finance its radio R&D initiatives.

According to an official at Mavenir, Mavenir continues to be an industry leader at the forefront of revolutionising the mobile network, and this investment will further accelerate the Company’s participation in the massive digital transformation opportunity as the leader in 5G.

As per a statement released by Mavenir on Tuesday, Siris will continue to control the bulk of the company’s shares together with significant minority investor Koch Strategic Platforms, a division of Koch Industries.
