The Delhi-NCR region is now completely covered by Reliance Jio’s 5G networks, making it the first telecom provider in India to do so. Only invited users can access Jio’s 5G network services because it is currently only providing 5G SA (standalone) service. According to Jio, the key cities of Delhi-NCR, including Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad, now have access to its 5G network services. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) issued the telco’s announcement on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange).
According to Jio, its 5G networks will cover all significant localities and areas, including but not limited to: the majority of residential areas, hospitals, government structures, schools, colleges, and universities, malls & markets, high streets, high-foot traffic areas like hotels and tourist attractions, tech parks, roads, highways, and metros.
“We take pride in serving the bulk of the National Capital and NCR region,” a Jio official stated. Jio has already deployed a significant amount of the intended True-5G network in this area and is quickly expanding its True 5G reach. In the whole Delhi-NCR region, it is the sole operator offering True-5G services.
Select consumers can currently receive an invitation to the Jio Welcome Offer from Jio. Users can experience extremely high speeds of up to 1 Gbps from Reliance Jio at no additional cost if they receive the invite from the telco, are on the Rs 239 plan or higher, and have a 5G-enabled smartphone that supports Jio’s 5G SA.
