The largest telecom provider in India, Reliance Jio, officially declared that its 5G SA network has reached all 33 of Gujarat’s districts. Again, this is a beta test from the telecom rather than a commercial launch. Jio’s 5G services will only be available to consumers who have been invited via the Welcome Offer and who satisfy specific requirements, including owning a smartphone that supports 5G SA and subscribing to a plan priced at Rs 239 or more. The strength of Reliance Jio’s 5G networks was already on display during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022. Use cases in a variety of fields and businesses, including healthcare, agriculture, education, gaming, and more, were powered by the telecom. Jio announced that users in 33 districts of Gujarat will be able to get the Welcome Offer as of November 25, 2022, marking a significant advancement in its mission to provide 5G to consumers.
Gujarat is become the first state in the nation to have 100% district headquarters covered by Jio True 5G. Jio recently made the Welcome Offer available to customers in Pune, Maharashtra.
Gujarat occupies a particular place because it is Reliance’s Janmabhoomi, according to Jio. This strategic declaration is made in honor of Gujarat and its citizens.
